The power of the body




"Over the last couple of decades there has been a huge increase in the number of Professional golfers realising the benefits of PHYSICAL STRENGTH and CONDITIOING (S&C). Golfers are now true athletes in every sense of the word. Tiger Woods back in the late 1990's was a huge advocate of hitting the gym regularly and the results over the next decade or so were breath taking to say the least. I always ensure that all my students are very careful in addressing the physical side of training, especially in the off season which helps increase strength, club head speed, reduce injury and create self discipline that spills over into other areas of their life. I work closely with a highly qualified S&C coach Simon Brearly who is the main S&C guy on the DP world tour. He works with my England squad almost every training session and it's now an integral part of our training days."
